The Junior League will launch in October, Chairman PCB said
LAHORE (92 News) – Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Rameez Raja says the Junior League will be launched in October.
Chairman PCB Rameez Raja while talking to media said that cricket needs to be promoted at all levels, for which 30 companies have shown interest. We will promote junior cricketers with the help of franchises. Our biggest achievement is to give contracts to 100 junior players.
Rameez Raja says that when things are going well, it is not right to change the chairman just for the sake of traditions. If the team does well, it should be supported. The Prime Minister is our Patron-in-Chief. We have asked him for time to brief him.
Rameez Raja says that India has been invited to play cricket. I have also spoken to Indian Board Chairman Saro Ganguly twice. When he came, the New Zealand team had gone back. Now things are better. I will also talk to the ICC for a four-nation series.
Chairman PCB Rameez Raja said that Babar Azam is the best captain and the performance of the team is still good.
