The former captain of the Australian women’s cricket team has been elected the first president of the International Cricket Council

Former Australian women’s cricket captain Lisa Stalker has been elected president of the Federation of International Cricketers’ Association (FICA).

According to reports, Lisa Stalker will be the first woman president of the International Cricket Council.

The decision to chair FICA was taken at a meeting of the FICA Executive Committee held in Neon, Switzerland yesterday.

It should be noted that Lisa Stalker represented the Australian women’s team in 187 matches while she was part of the Australian team that won the ODI World Cup in 2005 and 2013 and the T20 World Cup in 2010 and 2012.
