In the second eliminator of PSL 8, Peshawar Zalmi set defending champions Lahore Qalandars a target of 172 runs to win thanks to Muhammad Haris’s brilliant half-century, which Lahore Qalandars achieved by losing 6 wickets in 18.5 overs.
After the end of PSL 8, Peshawar Zalmi’s captain Babar Azam said in a press conference that the bowling was not good.
Babar Azam said that he achieved the goal he had set for himself, he enjoyed it, but team performance is more important than individual performance.
He said that Pakistan’s cricket is growing, Saeem Ayub and Mohammad Haris are coming forward, it is good that youngsters are taking advantage of the opportunities which will benefit Pakistan.
He said that Mohammad has been feeding Haris according to the plan, he took the change of batting number in a positive way, young cricketers do not care about the batting number, I always tell Haris to make the innings longer.
Talking about the match against Lahore Qalandars, Babar said that my wicket fell at the wrong time, Qalandars should be given credit, Haris Rauf bowled well.
