Riyadh: The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has announced that children of Tawheed coming from all over the world to perform Hajj this year will be prohibited from bringing plastic bottles, open items without packaging and items wrapped in cloth.
According to Saudi media, the ban will come into effect immediately, which was announced by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah on a micro-blogging website. These restrictions have been imposed to make the journey of Haj pilgrims comfortable and safe.
Zufar-ur-Rehman of the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, while instructing to avoid bringing prohibited items during air travel, said that these instructions must be followed to avoid any kind of trouble.
Earlier, the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah had also requested the Hajj pilgrims to inform the airport staff about their cash and luxury items upon arrival in Saudi Arabia. Bring foreign currency and valuables as much as allowed.
It should be noted that children from all over the world have started arriving in Saudi Arabia to perform the duty of Tawheed Hajj and this time due to the record attendance, the government has made special arrangements.
