Lahore: Taking notice of the illness of Presidential Award-winning senior actor Rashid Mehmood, the Punjab government has announced to bear all the expenses.
The Punjab government has taken notice of the illness of presidential award-winning senior actor Rashid Mehmood, Provincial Minister Amir Mir has directed the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting to conduct the senior actor’s treatment on an emergency basis at government expense.
Provincial Minister of Information Punjab Aamir Mir says that Rashid Mehmood is our senior actor, no effort will be spared in his treatment, the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting Punjab has instructed to get senior actor Rashid Mehmood treated.
Punjab Information Secretary Ali Nawaz Malik says that Rashid Mehmood’s treatment will be done on priority basis after the instructions received from the provincial minister Amir Mir.
He said that artists are a valuable asset of our country, the responsibility of their treatment is the first priority of the government.
It should be remembered that senior actor Rashid Mehmood suffered a heart attack for the third time, he informed about his illness through social media. The appeal was-
