Karachi: Despite the decrease in the price of gold in the international market, the local gold traders increased the prices smartly.
According to Express News, the price of gold per ounce decreased by 13 dollars to reach the level of 1925 dollars in the international market during the second trading day of the business week.
Despite the fall in the international market, gold prices rose by Rs 1,300 and Rs 1,115 per tola and per 10 grams respectively in local bullion markets on Wednesday.
As a result, the price of gold per tola increased to Rs 190,600 and the price of gold per ten grams increased to Rs 163,409 in the bullion markets of Karachi, Hyderabad, Islamabad, Peshawar and Quetta.
