ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Electricity prices will go up across the country from July 1. According to sources in the power division, from July 1, electricity will be Rs 3.50 per unit more expensive.

From July 1, a unit of electricity will increase from Rs 16.91 to Rs 20.41. From August 1, electricity will become more expensive by Rs 3.5 per unit. From August 1, the basic electricity tariff will be increased to Rs 23.91 per unit. From October 1, 2022, the basic electricity tariff will be further increased by 91 paisa per unit. From October 1, the price of electricity will increase to Rs 24.82 per unit. This increase will not apply to consumers using 200 units or less of electricity per month.
