Direction to implement Corona SOPs in Karachi and Hyderabad

The National Institute of Health (NIH) expressed concern over the rise in corona cases in Karachi and Hyderabad and directed implementation of SOPs.

In the last 24 hours 1060 tests of Corona were done in Karachi and the rate remained close to 16% while in Hyderabad 7 tests of Corona were done and all came negative which resulted in zero rate.

The National Institutes of Health has expressed concern over the spread of sub-variants BA5 and 4 in Karachi and Hyderabad and directed the commissioners to implement the Corona SOPs immediately.

The letter sent by the National Institutes of Health said that the vaccination cards of the citizens should be checked and public transport should not be filled with more than 70% of the passengers.
