BNB Channel Update – There BNB Channel, formerly sued as Binance Smart Chain (BSC) is about to upload an update. Indeed, the hard fork that I called Luban will be deployed in June.
Hard fork BNB Chain: Luban arrives on June 12
Ethereum is not the only network to regularly perform hard forks to get the blockchain evaluated. Indeed, the famous chain BNB is preparing to do the same.
Also, on June 12, the Luban hard fork will be deployed on the BNB Chain. In practice, it has three proposed changes: BEP-126, BEP-174 And BEP-221.

BEP-126: A Faster Finality
You BEP-126 It is a revolution in itself. I introduce a fast finishing mechanism“. As a reminder, a block is considered finalized when several other blocks have been added above it. Thus, it cannot be revoked or modified, even in the case of a fork.
“Currently, all nodes are full and validators must wait until enough blocks have been produced to guarantee probabilistic finality. For the BSC, with 21 validators, full nodes and absent validators 14 pads to ensure relatively safe finality. A mechanism that turns out to be too long for certain critical applications. »
BEP-174: Inter-Chain Relay Management
For its part, the BEP-174, called Cross Chain Relayer Management, aims to manage all authorized relays.
In other words, BEP-174 aims to introduce a new way to manage the public keys of the Relayer Manager. Thus, these will be processed in the contracted genesis on the BSC.
“This proposal will improve relay whitelist management by introducing relay managers. The latter can manage the recording of a single relay. Leaders will be elected and dismissed through governance. »
BEP-221: CometBFT Light Block Validation
The next proposal, BEP-221, concerns the validation of the CometBFT light block. In practice, this proposal aims to improve the compatibility between the BNB channel and the CometBFT channels.
“There are cross-chain requirements between BSC-enabled blockchains and CometBFT. So we need a gas-friendly solution to validate BSC lightweight blocks. »
For their part, developers invite validators and node operators to update their client before the fork.
At the same time, developers continue to fight evil projects. Thus, last April,BNB Chain teams on my list of abused projects today on the Red Alarm site.
