Riyadh: The first Saudi woman to visit the International Space Station has shared a soulful view of Mecca’s Al-Ahram Mosque from space.
According to the Saudi Press Agency, two Saudi astronauts, Rayana Barnawi (research scientist) and Ali Al-Qarni (fighter pilot) have arrived at the International Space Station (ISS) for a ten-day mission.
The SpaceX Dragon 2 capsule carrying Saudi astronauts and two American astronauts, Peggy Whitson and Jeff Shoffner, arrived at the space station’s science laboratory at 5:24 p.m. (4.24 p.m. Makkah time).
