Tokyo: A masked assailant entered a building in Nakano, Japan and targeted four people, killing three and injuring one.
According to the World News Agency, in a building in the city of Nakano, Japan, the suspect was wearing a black dress and hat, wearing a niqab and sunglasses, holding a gun in one hand and a knife in the other.
The assailant first stabbed a woman and shot her when she fell. The policemen also reached the scene of the incident and seeing them, the assailant opened fire indiscriminately in which two policemen were killed.
A citizen was also injured while trying to catch the accused but the assailant managed to escape from the spot. The police urged the citizens to stay at home and said that the accused is still hiding somewhere in these streets.
So far, the arrest of the accused has not been carried out. Japan has one of the lowest rates of gun violence in the world.
