Despite the billions of dollars spent in Afghanistan and the use of advanced military weapons in the past 20 years, a committee of members of the US Congress has been established to investigate the failure of the United States and its allies.
The committee is part of the 76768 billion annual defense budget, which is approved by the U.S. Senate after the House of Representatives. The Afghanistan Committee will consist of 16 members.
The MPs nominated by the two major parties must find out the preliminary reasons for the Taliban’s victory within one year, and find out the reasons within three years.
