ISLAMABAD (Daily Pakistan Online): Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) National Assembly member Amir Liaquat Hussain has claimed that Maulana Fazlur Rehman won the local body elections in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa because of the promises made to him at the time of ending the sit-in. Have been completed.
In a tweet, Amir Liaquat said that when Maulana Fazlur Rehman called a sit-in in Islamabad, he had a meeting and talked to someone on the phone, after which he announced that he had done it. Promises to go will be fulfilled.
Referring to the results of the recent Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) local body elections, Amir Liaquat said that Maulana Pura had won “clean and transparent” elections across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
It may be recalled that Maulana Fazlur Rehman’s party Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam has won 21 out of 64 seats of Tehsil Council and City Mayors in the local body elections to be held in 17 districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. According to the results of 58 seats received so far, the ruling party PTI has won 14 seats.
