The entertainment program for Christmas and New Year continues at Caen (Calvados). While waiting for the illumination show on Place Saint-Sauveur, currently being installed, a very original animation should delight the youngest this Wednesday, December 15, 2021.
A giant puppet
The Belgian company of Four Seasons will indeed take over the shopping streets of the hypercentre with the spectacle Josephine, wild transport.
This ambulatory and interactive attraction is based on a giant puppet, a 7-meter fire-breathing dragon! You can find it in the Place Bouchard area, and in the streets of Strasbourg and Saint-Pierre, from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m., then from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.
A toboggan tail
And that’s quite a story! Awakened by reckless children, the imposing legendary creature takes the name Joséphine and, through original texts sung to lively music, takes them for a little tour in her company.
In five-minute increments, six children will be invited to come aboard for a song-long walk. At each stop, the beast’s tail-slide will descend to the ground, allowing the brave volunteers to settle inside.
