Islamabad (Daily Pakistan Online) To deal with the dangers of climate change, the Asian Development Bank has announced to give loans of billions of dollars. And these new loans will be given to countries affected by climate change under Climate Change Financing Program.
According to “Express News”, the Asian Development Bank (ADB) announced a new program of “Climate Change Financing” to deal with the risks of climate change in Asian countries. Under the IF CAP financing program, funds of $100 billion are planned by 2030. In the Asia-Pacific region, the severity of climate disasters is expected to increase over the year, with donor countries providing $5 for every dollar. Loans of 15 billion dollars will be given to the affected countries in the form of a guarantee of 3 billion dollars. In this regard, ADB has declared Denmark, Japan, Korea, Great Britain and the United States as important initial partners.
