Jack Sullivan, the US President’s national security adviser, said that allies and the United Nations are working to improve Afghanistan’s economy.

Jack Sullivan said that the Taliban will have to keep their promises and provide direct assistance. The Pakistani government is also concerned about humanitarian assistance and aid to Afghanistan.

President Joe Biden’s national security adviser said that Pakistan hopes to cooperate with the United States on the current situation in Afghanistan.

He said he could not comment on Islamabad’s relationship with the Taliban and the Haqqani network, adding that it was difficult to comment on Pakistan’s role in Afghanistan.
