Islamabad (Daily Pakistan Online) Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif called a meeting of the Apex Committee at Governor House Peshawar on Friday.
According to the announcement issued by the Prime Minister House, representatives of all political parties, army, intelligence agencies, Rangers and other stakeholders including top officers of the police will participate in the apex committee meeting. It has been said in the declaration that 2 representatives of Tehreek-e-Insaaf have also been invited to attend the Apex Committee meeting. In the meeting, the motives behind the Peshawar suicide attack will be discussed and strategies will be decided to prevent such incidents in the future. On this occasion, the measures to be taken for the upgradation of police and CTD will also be reviewed.
