The National Institutes of Health (NIH) has confirmed a suspected Omicron case reported in Karachi.

The new variant of Corona virus ‘Omicron’, which is spreading rapidly in many countries, has also been confirmed in Pakistan by the National Institutes of Health.

According to the National Institutes of Health, Omekron was confirmed after genome sequencing was completed. This is the first case of Omekron virus to be confirmed.

The National Institutes of Health has appealed to the public to get vaccinated as soon as possible as per the guidelines issued by the NCOC.

It should be noted that so far cases of Corona’s new ‘Omekron variant’ have been reported in Asia, Africa, Middle East, Europe and America, but with each passing day it is appearing in more countries.
