Karachi (Web Desk) Begum Rashida Minhas, mother of pilot officer Rashid Minhas Shaheed Nishan Haider has passed away.
Chief of Air Staff Zaheer Ahmad Babar expressed his condolences on the death of Rashid Minhas Shaheed’s mother.

Earlier in 2019, it was reported that Begum Rashida Minhas was in critical condition and was undergoing treatment at a hospital.
It may be recalled that Rashid Minhas had sacrificed his life for the country in the 1971 war.
Rashid Minhas was buried on August 21, 1971 in Army Cemetery, Karachi. Rashid Minhas was awarded the highest military award Nishan Haider for his bravery and sacrifice for the sake of his homeland. He is the youngest pilot to receive the Nishan Haider award.
