The first female passenger suspected of monkeypox in Pakistan was detained at the Karachi airport.

A passenger named Samreena had reached Karachi from Central Africa via Dubai via a foreign airline.

The suspected female passenger was transferred to the isolation center from Jinnah International Airport Karachi on behalf of the officials of the Sindh Health Department.
