ISLAMABAD (Daily Pakistan Online): The Economic Co-ordination Committee (ECC) has approved summaries of technical supplementary grants offered by the Ministry of Defense and Ministry of Home Affairs, approving technical supplementary grants of Rs. 330 million for VVIP aircraft. The Interior Ministry had sought a technical supplementary grant of Rs 84 million for helicopter spare parts, both of which were approved.
A meeting of the Economic Co-ordination Committee (ECC) of the Cabinet was held under the chairmanship of Federal Minister for Economic Affairs Omar Ayub Khan. Rasheed, concerned Federal Secretaries and other senior officials attended the meeting. Approved. SM United Energy Pakistan will supply gas to SSGCL from sweet and butter fields. The price of gas will be as per the applicable petroleum policy fixed by the concerned regulators.
The ECC also considered in detail the modalities of the Ministry of Energy to provide discounted tariffs to zero rated industrial consumers of Lasbela Industrial Estate and Sundar Industrial Estate. He also considered 26 and postponed the summary till the next meeting. Earlier, Finance Advisor Shaukat Tareen chaired a meeting of the Technical Advisory Committee. The meeting was attended by Minister for Industries and Production Khusro Bakhtiar, Minister for Energy Hamad Azhar, Federal Secretaries and other senior officials. کیں۔
