The dollar continues to soar in the country.
In the interbank market, the dollar rose 10 paise to 177.71 against the dollar.
In the open market, the dollar fell by 40 paise to Rs 179.90.
On the other hand, there was a mixed trend of trading on the Pakistan Stock Exchange. The Hundred Index closed at 43,395 points, down 123 points.
The 100 Index remained in the band of 556 points on the trading day.
A total of 179.1 million shares worth Rs6.73 billion were traded in the stock market today. Market capitalization decreased by Rs. 5 billion to Rs. 7,454 billion.
