According to hospital sources, the number of people who have died as a result of the accident has reached 10.

During the rescue operation, the newborn baby was safely taken out from the debris of the residential building, in the search operation of civil defense and other organizations, the search operation of drones, heavy machinery and tracking dogs is going on for the people buried under the debris of the building.

According to the authorities, the accident occurred in the 50-year-old building due to ongoing repair work on the ground floor. Action has been initiated against the owner and contractor of the building.

The in-charge civil engineering department says that the accident occurred due to not taking safety measures during the repair work.
