The Russian President has not issued an official statement on the issuance of the arrest warrant by the International Court of Justice, however, he has declared the decision legally invalid and has called the questions raised by the International Court provocative and unacceptable. .
This is Putin’s first visit so close to the battlefront since Russian forces took control of the Ukrainian region of Donetsk.
Russian forces attacked Maripol in February last year, Putin was told that the city’s population is close to 5 million and people are now returning to their homes, with the city’s central area to be rehabilitated by the end of this year. The work will be completed.
