ISLAMABAD (Daily Pakistan Online): Shabbir Zaidi, chairman FBR in the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government, has spoken openly about the country’s economy, saying that all claims including running the country well, achieving great success and bringing about change are false.
According to private TV Geo News, while addressing a function, Shabar Zaidi said that in my opinion, this country has gone bankrupt. It is better to admit that we are bankrupt and move on from here.
According to private TV, Shabar Zaidi said about his clip circulating on social media that his statement was misreported in a private university, I had just said that the current account and financial deficit situation is like bankruptcy. ۔
It should be noted that Shabar Zaidi has been the chairman of the Federal Branch of Revenue in the PTI government from May 2019 to April 2020.
