Islamabad (Monitoring Desk) The so-called investment application called ‘JawaEye’ has robbed Pakistanis of billions of rupees. According to the news website ‘ProPakistani’, according to an estimate, around 25 billion rupees have been stolen from Pakistanis through this fraudulent application.

It is being claimed that this fake application was being operated from Indonesia which lured Pakistanis to invest by offering huge profits. This app has now been removed from Google Play. It was being used by thousands of people from all over Pakistan and every Pakistani had to invest at least 15 thousand rupees on this app.

This fake company was initially operating through a website, but later they created an application to gain more trust from people and made it available on Google Play fraudulently. Due to its presence on Google Play, people started trusting it blindly and started investing in it.

The app had been successfully wowing Pakistanis for months and organizations sat on their hands. Now the relevant institutions have started the investigation. The matter has also been raised with Google by the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP).
