Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah inaugurated the 14th International Urdu Conference at Karachi Arts Council.
The 14th International Urdu Conference held at Arts Council Karachi was attended by various personalities related to poetry and literature including Zehra Negah, Noorul Huda Shah, Kishore Naheed while Gopi Chand Narang and Iftikhar Arif participated online.
The chief guest of the 14th World Urdu Conference was Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah who lamented the Sialkot tragedy and said that only a book can stop the path of extremism.
The first session of the Urdu Conference was decorated by the Indian intellectual Gopi Chand Narang with his own language.
After Administrator Karachi in the 14th World Urdu Conference, the Provincial Minister of Health also started his speech by reciting a poem.
The first day of the Urdu Conference ended with music. For the next three days, Urdu lovers will continue to enjoy the blessings of writers, poets and intellectuals from 10 countries including Pakistan.
