Supreme Court;  Committee formed to review recruitment in lower judiciary Sindh

Islam Abad: The Supreme Court constituted a committee to look into the matter of recruitment in the lower judiciary of Sindh, while the court directed the Registrar, Sindh High Court, to submit all the records of recruitment.

A three-member bench headed by Justice Umar Ata Bandial conducted the hearing. ۔

Justice Ijaz-ul-Ahsan said that there were massive violations of rules in recruitment of lower judiciary. There was a commotion all over Sindh over the recruitment. The same procedure of appointment has been followed.

The Supreme Court adjourned the hearing till January 1, 2022. In addition, Chief Justice Gulzar Ahmed said that delay in decision making of the bureaucracy increases the judicial burden, also adds to the worries of the people. And pay according to the law. This was stated by the Chief Justice in a meeting with the delegation of National Management Course at the Supreme Court. The delegation led by Dr. Ijaz Munir called on him.

Talking to the delegation, the Chief Justice said that the function of bureaucracy is to address public grievances by following policies. Providing basic rights will reduce the gap between the people and bureaucracy. It is impossible to establish good governance without good officers.
