In Nawabshah, a sit-in has been going on on the national highway since morning against the alleged occupation of agricultural land, due to which the flow of traffic has been suspended and long queues of vehicles have been formed on both sides of the national highway.
According to sources, the protesters have set up a sit-in at Nawab Wali Muhammad bus stop on National Highway for 11 hours.
Sources said that political and social leaders including women are also participating in the protest.
The protestors have alleged that influential people have occupied agricultural land in Nawab Wali Muhammad Goth and their protest will continue till the occupation of the land is ended.
