ISLAMABAD (Daily Pakistan Online): A 72 72.5 million financing agreement was signed for the purchase of a vaccine to control the corona virus, which has been declared a global pandemic. It was decided during a meeting with Ayub Khan which was signed by both the parties.
According to a private TV channel, the meeting between the Federal Minister and the President of the Islamic Development Bank discussed the ongoing economic cooperation between Pakistan and the Islamic Development Bank. During the meeting, the President of the Islamic Development Bank reiterated his commitment to further strengthen and expand its partnership with Pakistan, saying that the Bank is committed to improving the infrastructure, social sector and achieving sustainable economic growth. The bank will also provide additional financial resources, including مہم 180 million in financing for the Mohmand Dam hydropower project.
Federal Minister for Economic Affairs Omar Ayub Khan said on the occasion that the Mohmand Dam Hydropower Project will generate 800 MW of electricity, which will increase Pakistan’s water storage capacity to 1,293 million acre feet. More than 6,000 jobs will be created for Pakistan. The Economic Affairs Division (EAD) said in a statement that the Islamic Development Bank (ISDB) would provide 25 252 million to Pakistan. DB approves کروڑ 252 million for Pakistan کروڑ 180 million will be spent on Mohmand Dam and hydropower projects.
