ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister Shibli Faraz has conceded defeat in KP local body elections.
Federal Minister for Science and Technology Shibli Faraz said that PTI lost because PTI was competing with PTI. If it was not so, it could have won in 14 districts.
He said that he could not mobilize the workers in the local body elections, now he would change his strategy in the next elections and establish party discipline.
Shaukat Yousafzai attributed the defeat to inflation
On the other hand, provincial labor minister Shaukat Yousafzai attributed the defeat in the local body elections to inflation.
He said that we had fielded good candidates but they also lost due to inflation but no allegation of easy load or corruption was leveled against them.
The provincial minister said that efforts would be made to rectify the mistakes and shortcomings, adding that in the second phase the results would be different from the first phase.
