LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Shahbaz Sharif has reacted to the statement of former President Asif Ali Zardari.
In a statement issued on Twitter, Shahbaz Sharif said that Zardari’s statement about Nawaz Sharif was regrettable, adding that Mian Sahib’s unwavering commitment to Pakistan has always been undeniable.
He said that you know the circumstances under which Nawaz Sharif had to go abroad, we should avoid such remarks, all should work together for the betterment of the country.
It should be noted that in NA-133 constituency of Lahore, PML-N candidate Shaista Pervez had won and PPP was in second position.
On this occasion, Asif Zardari had said that after Mian Sahib came to power, he reduced the constituencies. Otherwise, when it was a big constituency, Bibi also won from here.
