PSL Eliminator One, Peshawar Zalmi win by 12 runs, Islamabad United out
Lahore (Web Des) – In PSL Eliminator 1, Peshawar Zalmi gave Islamabad United a target of 184 runs to win.
The Islamabad United team was limited to 171 runs for 6 wickets in pursuit of the target of 184 runs. Sahib Maqsood scored 60 runs and Alex Hales scored 57 runs. Captain Shadab Khan remained not out scoring 26 runs.
On behalf of Peshawar Zalmi, Aamir Jamal and Salman Arshad took 2, 2 while Azmatullah Umarzai took one wicket.
Earlier, Peshawar Zalmi gave Islamabad United a target of 184 runs to win.
Peshawar Zalmi scored 183 runs for 8 wickets in the allotted 20 overs, captain Babar Azam scored 64 runs off 39 balls. Saeem Ayub scored 23, Haseebullah 15 and Mohammad Haris scored 34 runs.
Islamabad United captain Shadab Khan took 2 wickets, Fazal Haque Farooqui, Faheem Ashraf, Hasan Ali and Muhammad Wasim took one each.
Peshawar Zalmi and Lahore Qalunars teams will compete in PSL Eight Eliminator 2 tomorrow.
