The Lahore High Court allowed the police to enter Zaman Park to investigate the incidents that took place on March 14 and 15.
Justice Tariq Saleem Sheikh of Lahore High Court heard the petition against the police operation on Zaman Park Park.
During the hearing, the court remarked that the law says to send summons, which was not complied with, the impression is that there is no writ of the state, such a problem should not happen again.
Imran Khan said that there is justice in our name, I knew about March 18, they came to take it first, they came with such a large force, there was no example of such an attack by force, I was sure that it was from Islamabad. They did not come to take Balochistan, there was an example of violence against our people.
Lawyer Imran Khan said that there is also a case against Rana Sanaullah, what happened to him, to which Justice Tariq Saleem Sheikh remarked that he will look into the case when I have it.
Hearing on the application of the police
Apart from this, a hearing was also held on the request for access to investigate the incidents of March 14 and 15 filed by the police.
Justice Tariq Saleem Sheikh said that I am also dealing with the police operation application.
The court said that the police request would contain instructions to cooperate with the police, to which Imran Khan’s lawyer said that the SSP should not take too much force.
Justice Tariq Saleem Sheikh inquired whether I can control the investigation.
Imran Khan’s lawyer said that the investigator should go and investigate the case, on which the court allowed the police access for investigation according to the law.
