Hamilton: The same suspect killed Pakistani-origin Muhammad Shakeel Ashraf and a police officer in the Canadian cities of Mississauga, Milton and Hamilton, while he himself was killed in the encounter after injuring 3 people.
According to the international news agency, an unknown gunman opened fire at the MK workshop in Milton, Canada, as a result of which the owner of the auto workshop, Muhammad Shakeel, was killed. Muhammad Shakeel is a Canadian citizen of Pakistani origin and has lived in Hamilton for many years.
Two other people who are local citizens were also injured in the attack on Muhammad Shakeel and their condition is now out of danger. The reason for the murder of Muhammad Shakeel could not be determined.
On the other hand, during a search operation in Mississauga, there was an exchange of fire between the armed suspect and the officers, in which police officer Andrew Hong was killed and one officer was seriously injured and is being treated in a critical condition.
Police say that the same accused escaped to Milton and killed auto workshop owner Mohammad Shakeel and fled to Hamilton. The police shot and killed the armed suspect after a chase. The armed suspect has been identified as 30-year-old Shawn Petrie.
The police formed an inquiry team to solve this important and complex case.
