Salaries of Pakistan International Airlines employees have been increased by 25%.
The salaries of Pakistan International Airlines employees have been increased after 6 years, with effect from November 1, 2021.
According to the report, the salaries of PIA employees have been increased by 25% in the salaries of admins and technical staff of pay group one and 2 while the salaries of admins and technical staff of pay group 3 and 4 have been increased by 20%.

It should be noted that PIA’s deficit has come down drastically during the last three years but the national airline is still in deficit.
PIA released its financial report for the Pakistan Stock Exchange on April 7, 2013 for the year ended December 31, 2020, according to which PIA was able to reduce its expenses and losses for the year, operating expenses. From Rs 140 billion to Rs 93 billion, the net loss in 2019 was Rs 53 billion, which came down to Rs 35 billion, which is the lowest deficit in the last five years.
