Pakistan Refinery Limited with a production capacity of 7.5 million liters per day had to be shut down.
According to Pakistan Refinery Limited, the power plants stopped the purchase of furnace oil due to which the oil storage was filled and the Pakistan refinery with a daily production capacity of 7.5 million liters has been shut down.
According to industry sources, if the refinery had run more, oil would have been wasted while the government has been informed of the decision.
In addition, Pakistan Refinery Limited wrote a letter to the Pakistan Stock Exchange informing it to stop the operation.
