Negotiations with Sindh government successful;  Flour Mills Owners Announce End of Strike


Karachi: Sindh Government and Flour Mills Association’s negotiations were successful after which flour mill owners announced to end the strike.

A formal written agreement was reached between the Sindh Food Department and flour mills owners, according to which 5 lakh sacks of wheat will be supplied to the flour mills, while the quality of wheat will be verified by the representatives of the mills and the officials of the food department.

Under the agreement, wheat from all over Sindh will be allowed to be brought to Karachi from May 15, representatives of Flour Mills Association and the negotiating parties of the Secretary Food team confirmed the agreement.
