See my news
A resident of Montoir-de-Bretagne near Saint-Nazaire (Loire-Atlantique) fished at Pénestin (Morbihan) an oyster and above all a pearl, well hidden inside the shell.
Loïc says:
We were eating our oysters when my wife tells me there is something weird and I hear a ding ding on the tiles. I immediately understood.
One 8mm bead
The fisherman was not wrong. It is indeed a pearl that escaped from the oyster!
I have been fishing for a long time, always in the same place and I will not say where in Pénestin! But I never came across a pearl and I never heard that anyone found it in this corner
A jewel ?
With its 8mm, the white pearl is rather of good size.
What to make a jewel of it.
I’m going to see if I can have it circled, because I don’t want to pierce it for fear of damaging it. It has no financial value, but I would like to keep it as a souvenir and it’s a bit of a lucky charm!
