Islamabad (APP): In the first 2 months of the current financial year, a decrease of 3 percent has been recorded in the country’s LNG imports on an annual basis. According to the statistics released by the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics in this regard, from July to August 2022. The volume of LNG imports in the period was recorded at 629 million dollars, which is 3% less than the same period of the previous financial year. In August 2022, LNG imports have recorded a growth of 5% on an annual basis and 73% on a monthly basis. According to the data, the foreign exchange spent on LNG import in August was 399 million dollars, which was 231 million dollars in July and 380 million dollars in August last year.
