In the first phase of local body elections in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, polling was held on December 19 in 60 out of 61 Tehsil Councils (Chairman) seats in 17 districts of the province and 4 out of 5 City Councils (Mayors) seats, the results of which are in the final stages. ۔
One seat of the Chairman Tehsil Council which was not polled is Bakakhel Tehsil of Bannu where polling was postponed after a commotion at the polling station.
Besides, not a single seat of the city council was polled on DI Khan. Polling for the seat was postponed after an ANP candidate was killed. In other words, elections were held for 60 seats of Tehsil Councils and 4 seats of City Councils.
Results of 60 Tehsil Councils of 17 districts
So far, the results of 41 out of 60 Tehsil Councils have come out of which 14 seats have been won by JUI, 10 by PTI, 7 by Independent, ANP by 5, PML-N by 3 and Jamaat-e-Islami by 2 Are named
Out of 6 Tehsil Councils of Peshawar District, complete results of 5 Tehsil Councils have been received according to which Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI) on 3 Tehsil Councils and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on one and Awami National Party (A NP) succeeded.

The results of 3 tehsils of Charsadda district have been received according to which JUI has won in 2 tehsils and independent candidate in one.
The complete result of one of the 3 tehsils of Nowshera district has been received and the ANP candidate has been declared successful.
Out of 3 tehsils of Khyber district, complete result of 2 tehsils has been received according to which PIT in one tehsil and JUI in one have been successful.
Complete results have been received from 2 out of 3 tehsils of Mohmand district, according to which JUI has won in one tehsil and PTI in one.
Complete results of all 4 Tehsil Councils of Mardan District have been received. JUI candidates have won in three tehsil councils of Mardan while ANP candidate has won in one tehsil.
Out of 4 tehsils of Swabi district, complete results have been received in 3 out of which N-League won in one tehsil, PTI in one and ANP in one.
Out of 3 Tehsil Councils of Kohat District, complete results of 2 have been received, out of which PTI has won in one Tehsil of Kohat and Independent candidates in one.
The complete result of one of the 3 tehsils of Karak district has not been received.
Complete results of 2 Tehsil Councils of Hangu District have been received, out of which JUI has won in one Tehsil and Independent candidate in the other.
Complete results have been received from 3 out of 5 Tehsil Councils of Bannu, out of which JUI in one tehsil, PTI in one and Independent candidate in one.
Local body elections postponed in Bakakhel Tehsil of Bannu

Complete results have been received in 2 out of 4 tehsils of Lakki Marwat district in which Jamaat-e-Islami was declared successful in one tehsil and independent candidate in one tehsil.
13 DI Khan
Out of 5 Tehsil Councils of DI Khan, complete results have been received from 4 out of which Independent candidates in 2 Tehsils, Jamaat-e-Islami in one and PTI in one.
Complete results have been received from both the tehsils of Tank district and JUI candidates have been declared successful in both the tehsils.
Complete results have been received from all the 3 tehsils of Haripur district, out of which 2 were won by PML-N and one by an independent candidate.
Complete results of 5 out of 6 tehsils of Buner district have been received. PTI won in 4 tehsils of Buner and ANP in one.
Complete results of one of the two tehsils of Bajaur district have not been received.
Results of 4 city councils of 17 districts
The complete results of 3 out of 4 city councils have come out, out of which JUI has won in 2 and ANP in one while JUI candidate has a decisive lead in Peshawar. Results of its 6 polling stations Have been stopped and the result will be released by the Election Commission.
JUI has a decisive lead in the Peshawar City mayoral seat.
The Awami National Party candidate has won the mayoral seat of Mardan.
The JUI candidate won the Kohat City mayoral seat.
JUI won the Bannu City Council mayoral seat.
Note: The fifth seat of the city council was in DI Khan where elections were not held.
