Exercise is beneficial for everyone’s health, but what is the best time to do it?

It is not easy to determine, but if you want to control blood sugar, it is best to exercise in the afternoon or evening.

This was revealed in a medical study conducted in the Netherlands.

A study from the Leiden University Medical Center found that exercising anytime between noon and midnight reduced the risk of insulin resistance by 25 percent.

Insulin resistance occurs when muscle, fat, and liver cells have difficulty responding to insulin, causing blood glucose levels to rise.

If blood glucose levels are not controlled, diabetes develops over time.

The study enrolled people between the ages of 45 and 65 and had their blood glucose and insulin levels checked at baseline.

All these people were suffering from obesity.

The trackers were worn for 4 days to monitor the physical activity of these individuals.

The results showed that physical activity between noon and night reduced the amount of fat in the liver while also reducing insulin resistance.

According to research, exercising in the afternoon or evening can reduce insulin resistance by 18 to 25 percent.

The researchers said that physical activity at different times of the day is beneficial in terms of insulin sensitivity.

Further research will analyze what time of day exercise may be best for preventing type 2 diabetes, he said.

The results of this study were published in the journal Diabetologia.
