Bollywood actress and Samajwadi Party MP Jaya Bachchan lost her temper after being personally attacked by a fellow MP.
According to Indian media, a meeting was held in the Rajya Sabha (Parliament) on Monday under the chairmanship of Bhubaneswar Kalita in which the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Amendment Bill 2021 was discussed.
According to media reports, during the discussion, a fellow member allegedly made a personal comment on Jaya Bachchan, which angered her.
According to reports, Jaya Bachchan criticized Bhubaneswar, who presided over the meeting, for not listening to the opposition and said that he should remain neutral and not support any party.
Jaya requested Bhubaneswar to take action on the comment made by a fellow member on me and my career.
On which Bhubaneswar urged Jaya to speak on the bill under discussion and also announced that inappropriate remarks during the meeting would be removed from the record.
According to Indian media, after the meeting, Jaya Bachchan said that she did not want to make any personal comment on anyone but what happened was very sad.
