Citizens in Pakistan were also waiting for the announcement of the Royat Hilal Committee regarding the moon of Ramadan, but at 10 pm, the Central Royat Hilal Committee announced the sighting of the moon and the first fast on Thursday.
However, it was announced that the moon sighting of Ramadan was announced late at night in Afghanistan after 11 o’clock local time.
Zabihullah Mujahid, spokesperson of the central government of the Taliban, said in a tweet that according to the order of the Supreme Court, the testimonies of Moon have been received, after which the first fast will be held on Thursday.
