In Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates, Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett met with the Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the UAE Armed Forces and Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
Yesterday, Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett arrived in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the UAE, for his first official visit. This is the first official visit by the Israeli Prime Minister to the UAE.
During the visit, Bennett met with Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
During the meeting, Crown Prince Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan expressed his hope for stability in the Middle East and talked about promoting cooperative relations towards more positive steps in the interests of the people of the two countries and the region.
Israeli officials said the meeting was of historical significance. The Israeli ambassador stated that the Iranian issue has been included on the agenda of the Israeli Prime Minister’s meeting. The Israeli Prime Minister did not come to the UAE to discuss the Iranian issue.
So far, bilateral trade between Israel and the UAE has reached approximately 500 million euros in 2021 alone.
