New Delhi: An Indian army helicopter has crashed near the border of China in the state of Arunachal, in which the fear of casualties is being expressed.
According to Indian media, an Indian army helicopter crashed in the Mandala mountain range of Arunachal. The area where the helicopter crashed is near the Chinese border.
The helicopter took off from the Arunachal army base but lost contact with the control tower shortly after. The helicopter was confirmed to have crashed in the mountain range.
A rescue team has been sent to the spot. There were two pilots in the helicopter. No statement has yet come out from the Indian Army.
It should be noted that in the last 10 years in the same state, 40 officials and officers, including the former Chief Minister, have died in more than 7 helicopter accidents of the Indian Army.
