Ouagadougou: In the West African country of Burkina Faso, military officers seized power by sacking their own commander.

According to the World News Agency, the military officers of the African country of Burkina Faso rebelled against the military dictator Lt. Col. Paul Henry Damiba. Rebel soldiers seized state TV and announced the removal of the military dictator, banning political activity in the country.
