He has developed a unique concept in France! Mathieu Pigny is fromArras, in the Pas-de-Calais. Passionate about board games, the 30-year-old created a mobile game library which crosses the villages of the Arrageois and much more. Her name ? Dice Rolls Games.
A great reconversion
Mathieu spent entire afternoons playing board games with his family, especially his sister. “It allows you to create a bond but also to get away from it all. I had a great time, ”he says. However, he first embarked on the food industry.
“I got fed up with the factory. I wanted to have contact with people, I needed that. “The Arrageois, in the first place, imagined a game bar,” but there is already one in Arras. So I found this innovative concept of a traveling toy library, ”he says. An idea that came to him in full confinement.
A unique concept in France
“The goal is to meet the inhabitants and offer them board games. It’s fun to be able to introduce new games and explain the rules, ”he says. Mathieu is carrying around more than 600 board games in his van, for sale or for hire.
They are also regularly updated, “more than 1000 games are released per year, there is plenty to do! And he knows almost all of them! “These are just games I know. I also provide advice, which is not necessarily found in a large store. “

The beginnings were sluggish for the 30-something but he is starting to find his cruising speed: “I have had a rather satisfactory end to the year. I’m starting to be known too so things are progressing well. ”
In addition to sales, Mathieu Pigny hosts afternoons in homes for disabled young people or in retirement homes. “They are having a good time and so am I. I like that, offering them an activity that will make them happy and embellish their daily lives. It’s very rewarding, ”he smiles.
Large coverage area
With Jeux Dés Roule, the former agribusiness framework covers an area of 45 kilometers around Arras. “But I also go to Béthune and I have already done animation in Roncq. And if I am asked to go to Amiens, I will go! ”

His concept is a hit and is already being emulated, “several people have already called me to find out how it worked”, he slips. Mathieu has ambition because he would like to add two vans to cover even more ground.
He even has a bigger goal in mind… “I would like to create a game festival within two years with various stakeholders in the sector. “We keep our fingers crossed for it to succeed!
