ISLAMABAD (Daily Pakistan Online) Speaker National Assembly Raja Pervez Ashraf has said that if the Parliament provides the recording of its proceedings to the Supreme Court, then how can the supremacy of the Parliament be maintained.
Speaking to a private TV channel, Raja Pervez Ashraf said that the Supreme Court is interfering in the legislative process of the Parliament, how can the court give any order on the bill which has not yet become a law? To protect what is given to him by the Constitution of Pakistan, I will not allow my institution to be disrespected, whether it is the establishment or the Supreme Court, Parliament has always been a target for them but we will not allow this to happen again.
He said that whenever martial law is imposed in Pakistan, the Supreme Court supports martial law. It is because of those who break the constitution of Pakistan and violate the sanctity of the parliament that Pakistan is weak today.
