The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the Player of the Month nominations for the players who performed well in the month of September.
In the nominations released by the ICC, Pakistan’s wicketkeeper Batter Mohammad Rizwan was nominated for the Player of the Month after scoring 553 runs in the Asia Cup and the T20 series against England.
Apart from this, Australia’s Cameron Green was shortlisted for the first time for his excellent all-round performance in the ODI series against New Zealand and T20 against India, while Indian spinner Axar Patel was named Player of the Month for the first time for his outstanding performance against Australia. Succeeded in getting the nomination.
Two Indian players Harmanpreet Kaur and Samrathi Mandhana and Bangladesh’s Nigar Sultana were also nominated for Women’s Player of the Month.
